Over the past few years, I’ve been fortunate to be part of quite a few album releases — both as a sideman and under my own name twice.

In 2023, Paul Prassel released Break Point, Vibe put out Moonstone, and Tristano Unchained released On Democracy — a record I’m particularly fond of, as it captures a side of the band that felt very natural and unhurried to make.

2024 brought Hidden Places by Julius van Rhee, and Leon Hattori’s Evergreen Forest, two very different records that I enjoyed contributing to. And then there was Project E — my second solo album, released in February 2024. It’s a record I’d been sitting on for a while, and I’m glad it finally found its way out into the world.

2025 has been busy as well: Finn Wiest released Aurora, Julian Bossert’s Tristano Unchained project put out ID Entity, and my third solo album Umweg came out — another step in a direction I’ve been curious about for some time.
