Calvin Lennig is a professional bass player, who is currently living and working as a freelance musician and educator in Cologne, Germany. He graduated in Jazz-bass from the ‘Folkwang University of the Arts’, Essen in 2017, where he studied both Doublebass and Electric Bass under Robert Landfermann and Stefan Rademacher.
As an active part of the lively jazz and live music scenes of Cologne and the Ruhr area, he plays in a wide variety of bands, projects and genres. He shared the stage with renowned musicians like Seamus Blake, Adam Nussbaum, Christian Lillinger, Ben van Gelder, Paul Heller and Florian Weber and toured i.a. in South America, Iceland, the Canarian Islands, Spain and Switzerland.
